On Friday, April 1st, 28-5th, 6th, and 7th grade students participated in the Muscatine Science Fair.  All the students worked hard, learned a lot, and represented Wilton very well.  Eleven students made it into the final round of judging and one received a Sustainable Agriculture award from Monsanto. Ansley Boorn and Meggan Hook along with Daelyn Cooling received Honorable Mention ribbons.  Jacob Imhoff and Kaedon Maine received fourth place ribbons.  Paige Thompson and Madeleine Drake-Metzger, Ella Caffery and Taylor Schult, and Mason Ormsby and Lucas DuRocher all received second place ribbons.  Cole Henning received the Monsanto Award. Wilton School is very proud of all of the Science Fair participants.

In addition, some 5th and 6th students participated in the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Math-A-Thon last month.  Together, they raised over $1000 for the children of St. Jude's.  They did an amazing job and it's so heartwarming to see students reaching out to help others less fortunate.  We have some outstanding students at Wilton Elementary!
